    I live in NE Florida, and am not zoned for chickens... but I am very interested. I hope I can find a way to keep and raise a few for eggs.

    If u want chickens, u must make the requirements right. Is your backyard big enough to have a coop for your chickens?

    Some areas of the country that do not allow chickens do allow you to keep quail. I keep quail and chickens and I find the quail to be very interesting birds to keep. They are good for eggs and meat.
