This rings true for me.

I started studying quantum physics a while back and one of the things that really caught my attention and focused me was harmonics. All of the sciences discuss motion and vibration and it has been shown through from the mechanical level to the quantum level and throughout the biologic spectrum. I try very hard to stay in tune with the harmonics of the universe. I am always so much happier when I do!

ON - other than what we already discussed elsewhere - in the latter part of the summer I felt blind and was intensely scatter brained. Not that I am not generally pretty flaky, I am! But, I kept losing things and forgetting things and getting lost when driving. It was insane.

Dh actually asked me if maybe I should see a doctor! It seems somewhat better now, but like a clearing fog or the slow recovery from a nasty cold..... I am looking forward to the Autumnal Equinox. Hopefully things will clear after that turning point.

Exactly; and there is so much more that we don't know. It seems to be about how stuff moves and cycles and conserving and releasing energy. Fascinating in the least; miraculous or magical at the most...

I too feel we will find a new understanding in these areas of study..

I find a deep peace in the simple rythms of nature, the day and the seasons.

That sounds about right.

Ever read about the search for a TOE - Theory of Everything - one equation that accounts for it all?

I know nothing about physics, or quantums, or cuarks, or quids, or coolies.
But I know what I know, and I know the answer to all joy.

Yeah, th one that is supposed to tie together relativity with string theory... Would be cool to know.

Not knowing is a source of joy to me. It lets me know I am allowed to not have all of the answers and I can be humbled in the face of my vast ignorance.

I wrote some stuff about karma, but it's the same as what others have said.

Basically, I can agree that what comes around sometimes goes around (but not always quickly or consistently enough!).

Just wanted to say I've enjoyed the thread. I was not a big poster on the pagan and non-religion threads but they were a comfort to me & it was a disappointment to see the pagan one in particular shut down. Nice to see some of the same folks here, and lots of interesting discussion.

I've enjoyed the thread, too. I'd also like to mention at this point that I am Catholic (not a really good one, but if you're born one, you are one). If you were to read back over my posts, you could come to the conclusion that I think that 'karma' is just how we work things out and how things work transcends all beliefs, religion, lack of belief or, well, anything...
