After driving 600 miles for 12 hours through the worst traffic congestion I have seen yet on I-95, (I expected zero traffic because it was Sunday, AND Easter), I made it to Bethlehem Pennsylvania where I will be staying at the home of friends.
Mike and Doreen fed me some delicious Easter leftovers, and COFFEE.
For whatever reason I craved caffeine!
We stayed up late talking and catching up and then I slept like a rock!
So today begins two weeks of hanging with my family and friends.

Well, I had a GOOD surprise today.
I received a package in the mail and guess what it was?
My long-awaited Lavender mug!!!!
I had given up on that but it’s here!
From a company in Australia! (I had orders in everywhere. Lol.)
It was a nice little pick-me-up after my sad day yesterday.

Now Lavender and Shad can sit side by side in my glass front cabinet. (Except when I am having coffee, of course.)
