Kat’s Journey into Chicken Keeping

Pics
In the beginning, the chickens are not in full gear, so some shell-less ones do happen. Try to feed back all the egg shells from your eggs, as well as those you may have from store. I also do have Oyster shells, free-choice. I have not seen a shell-less egg in many moons.
Many peeps, dry their shell, and some even bake them dry. I have only took them out to the hens, and stepped on them to make small pieces. NEVER PROCESSED THEM ANY. :pop
My girls have a bowl of oyster shells always available to eat.
I usually give my egg shells to the dogs, but I am sure they won’t mind sharing.:thumbsup

Better than 2 eggs for 2...so glad that you have two layers now! Enjoy your breakfast! I'm going to make an egg, sausage, broccoli & cheese casserole this morning...once I get moving that is! Have a good day! :)
YUM! Your casserole sounds awesome!
Comfort food at it’s finest! 🥰
