This is Jo, Jo is a feral Muscovy duckling found on the edge of death abandoned post a storm in Mary Jo peckham park earlier this week. Jo has now regained some strength and can waddle about and is drinking and somewhat eating but we suspect she has either an obstruction or is swallowing wrong as she tends to spit out food and water and head shake when feeding and drinking. We can't keep her as we are not financially stable enough to start up ducks again at this time nor is our property fenced currently. Jo will need a friend of similar size so a week or younger to help convince her to eat and drink regularly and so she can keep up. She's very sweet and hates being even inches away due to her situation. She needs a small flock for company and so one can keep an eye on her health till she is fully eating like she should be. She is free as long as you have other ducklings of proper size for her or a small adoption fee if you plan to keep her as a single duck to assure she has proper care and attention. If you want her please schedule a pick up time with me, must be picked up from our house as she's still to weak to be out of the brooder for more than a few minutes.
