Kayla’s Flock!

Hello! It’s only been 2 days, I know. But it feels like forever! Thanks to Skyla (who enjoys reading posts on BYC, but hasn’t bothered to make an account yet) convinced me that it was best to stay positive and well if we’re being honest BYC is my “happy place”. I can easily come here to make my day better and to help others. So, I’m back. :woot

I missed y’all for those 2 days!

Yay! We've missed you too!:hugs

Good morning!:caf Happy Thanksgiving eve!

Random question: How do you all feel about Christmas decorations, music and other things before Thanksgiving? I know one of my friends refuses to listen to Christmas music until December.:lau
I LOVE decorations! I listen to Christmas music 365 days a year (for the most part). Thanksgiving is always fun, I get to see a lot of my extended family. My uncle makes THE BEST sweet potato pies (sorry mom  )

:hugsyaaaaaay :hugs

Ellie, I'm old fashioned and start preparing for Christmas on Thanksgiving, but like Kayla, I could listen to Christmas music year round. I miss the way things were when I was young, but it's still the same in Germany. Everyone is nice to each other, hot spiced wine and chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Oh and the dutch chocolates filled with liquor...:drool:old

How’s the flock?
Well, they’re doing good. I got 2 eggs yesterday, none the day before. I visited my uncle and I LOVE his birds! He has, chickens, turkeys, gunieas, and soon ducks. I’ll try to get pictures tomorrow, I’ll be going there again.

Tsk tsk tsk
You sound like my uncle, anything liquor-like he’ll go for it. :lau

:lau:gig Yes, but these are special. Unlike most liquor filled chocolates that have a heavy layer of sugar, between the liquor and the chocolate, these do not. And they're only available at Christmas time and only within a few hundred miles of Denmark.:drool
