I thought about setting pure silkie eggs and silkie x Cochin eggs... but I don’t know If I sat them tomorrow they’d hatch about the same time as the ducklings.

Hatching statistics as of today~
I hatched 7 quail chicks on April 17, 2019:
12 set, 9 fertile, 7 hatched.

Currently in the incubator are duck eggs from my very own Khaki Campbell ducks, Fran and Fabio!
There are 8 in there on day six Candling shall happen on day 10, as advised by @chickens really (she’s awesome! )
I am using my lovely Hovabator 1602N incubator
Turning is manual, but if I really wanted to it could be automatic if I added the turner, but I like hand-turning better

That's the same incu I have. I did get the autoturner, I do miss hand turning. The auto turner makes me forget to hover over the incu the whole time.

Hi Kate! I know right? The hovering is real I thought about using the turner but being my luck it’d stop working and I wouldn’t realize it.

Ellen and Porsche (partridge silkie bantams) laid their first eggs this past week! Cute off-white eggs I think it’d be interesting to see what the colors of the (future) offspring will turn out like!
