Good morning! I think I can be ready for them by mid-september. Would setting them the last week in August be ok? The weather will be a little cooler for shipping, and Labor Day will be past. Thank you, and I am looking forward to having chicks!Morning folks
Parront, when do you want me to set eggs for you? One of my buyers wants another 25 chicks this fall, of course the challenge is "how late" as at some point the girls will quit laying for the year and take their winter break.
Sorry girl! I must’ve closed up right then and had been working in the yard all day!How are you today?
Woot!Sorry girl! I must’ve closed up right then and had been working in the yard all day!
Look what I got today!! Went out to do one of my routine checks and “hellos” to the gals and I see my little red Cochin.. Camellia coming out of a nest box and I look in and see the tiniest itty bitty egg ever!!!! Now, I’m not 100% it’s hers as she is so young.. she is 16 weeks old this week... but it looks just the perfect size for a new bantam egg.. she is also rather small.. not as big as Nilky.. pic does not show how small it really is.. Nilky egg in middle..View attachment 1848382View attachment 1848383
