Getting better. I had a diverticulitis flare up last weekend they put a bit of a scare in me. Fortunately though it seems to be clearing up just fine.

Last time it started raising its ugly head I had four surgeries that took a few years to recover from. So hopefully this is just a one-time occurrence.

I had a fast advancing case, and went for an elective resection. I had every single complication I was warned about plus some. I flatlined twice, had a rupture, went septic, and so in. It was hands down the worst time of my life, but it gave me a new lease and outlook on life that I wouldn't trade for anything. Not that I'm in any rush to relive it, but I value what came from it.
