Keep cats away from where chickens dust bathe

What can I put in the areas where my chickens dust bathe that is safe for them but will keep the cats from using as a litter box?
I have yet to have this as a problem. Mom's cat is somewhat terrified of the birds, for a while the guineas used to gang up on her and chase her until they got bored of that pastime. The cat tries to stand up to the chickens sometmies but the hens largely ignore her and the roosters will flat out chase her if the cat gets in their way.

Overall, the cat tends to avoid anywhere the birds go on a regular basis including the dust baths.

We live on ten acres and the cats and dogs come and go out a dog door as they please. Impossible to monitor where the cats toilet! If the chickens don't want to dust bathe where the cats have soiled, they have their choice of ten acres to find another spot. And they do.
