My A&M's aren't to excited by the food, but one of them always comes and jumps in the water as soon as I fill it

Oh! Well I remember those!!! Was at a family friends house (when I was just a kid) neighbors were playing darts, a teenaged girl started screaming, here she was near the board thing, and who ever was throwing the dart threw it completely wrong and it went right into her upper thigh. It was really disgusting.

I think they just like my company, or want to see me work! I have to change their water at least 3 times a day! And their food??? God only know what they do with it! I feed them and 10 minutes later the bowl is upside down with no food in sight! I see some of it spilled, but not that much. Maybe it blends in with the wood chips too well?

lol that's exactly why in my hanging pens that i have to feed my quail 2 times a day, otherwise they'd starve. Those idiots not only kick out their food they also bathe in it daily. SO! I don't give them anything to dust bathe in anymore since they use thier food as their dust-ness anyhow...so their food is dual purpose in this house (technically outside), food and dust material.

Instead of getting mad about them wasting it (like i used to do) I just say oh well they'll just be hungry untili feed them again at 3...lol!!!!

Mine (the inside birds anyway) usually 'dust bathe' in there pine shavings. I finally gave my outside birds some more dirt, now that it's dry!! It doesn't last long at all!
