Keeping a rooster?

I should keep a rooster in the hens coop during the day right? I cant keep it in during the night because of space.... Is that a big problem?

All the chickens should be in the coop at night. Chickens are very susceptible to predators at night. I wouldn't get a roo if you don't have enough room.

OK. Do you have an outside run for your chickens? Or do you free range. I think that you could keep the roo with the hens in the day.
