I haven’t had ducks in a couple years so I’ve lost pretty much all my knowledge of them. My bad.Not dumb. A lot of people don't know or forget that about the silly webby ones.

But a filter would help with clearing out food, regular dirt and most things except the poop right?
So would it be worth including a filter or just a waste of money. In my opinion no. Not enough to justify the cost on one big enough to even try.

Thanks!Just my opinion but I think it would be a waste of money.
Hi! What did you end up doing for your ducks? We're using a kiddie pool, but it is a mess. Daily dumping is rough. I thought about putting a spigot in the side to help drain it. Anyways, would love to see some pictures!I haven’t had ducks in two years, and previously I just used kiddie pools which required daily cleaning. I hated it. I plan to build a nice pond this time, with a pond liner, filter, and waterfall. However, I know ducks will be ducks I want to know what the very best way to filter and keep it clean would be.
Mine have a 175 gallon pond with a full drain system. I have a shower drain in mine but I recommend a plug hole instead because I have to scoop out by hand the leaves and things that won’t go through the holes.Hi!
