Keeping water cold in the heat!

You can also put the waterer, with ice in it, inside the coop and aim a fan at it.. that kind of blows some slightly cooler air around. The chickens will just kind of stand in front if it panting.
I've recently heard of folks just freezing gallon jugs of water and putting them out in the run for the birds to stand/rub/lean on, and also putting them in a shallow kiddie pool so they have a cool place to put their feet.
