Well that is a lot of white! Keets can do strange things with color when growing out though... I’d go with you original assessment of color as a newly hatched chick, though it’s possible the keet will turn out to be a pied adult... Alao May have white flight feathers, as a few of mine do!

Looks like a Royal purple with white flight feathers. The curliness can happen and it should grow out of it.
