Sister is making kefir and has a lot of kefir grains which she tosses away each day. Since it's just a bunch of beneficial organisms, yeasts and lactobacilii, they shoud be OK to be fed to ducks.
Anyone tried it already? Residue of the milk that might be attached to the kefir is completely fermented.

Could it harm ducks in any way? I've heard cheese, yogurt and similar milk products can be used as a treat for ducks.

I don’t know how much milk residue they would be getting and how they digest it. But everything else is really healthy for them. Their poop will be a lot less stinky!

Not yet, waiting for them to become available. :)
She just got them and they need to multiply enough for the ducks to get their turn. Shouldn't take long, they multiply like crazy!
