The false positives are more prevalent than you may think. Just one false positive could cost a family their income. To prove themselves it will take time. During that time, they will have no food stamps, no food, may miss their mortgage payment, have the electricity shut off. ALL because they had a false positive test. I don't wish that on one single sole. NO, I do not like this law.
I understand... i do.
I wouldnt wish that on anyone either...
But ... i dont know... i just dont believe the false positives are as prevalent as you think...
I dont know... SOMETHNG has to be done to start protecting these children.
I understand that you don't want to believe the false positives are as prevalent as the labs themselves say they are. This is not the way to protect those children. The only people who will get caught by this is the people who *aren't* habitual users, because the habitual users are the ones who know how to fake the tests! The only ones who will get caught up by this law are the innocent non-druggies who test false positive, and a few random idiots. Are all those families tossed into the cold worth a few random idiots? Are the people who really *need* their medication but lost it because of a false positive worth catching one idiot who was too high to fake the test?
Not to me.
