I'm looking for some Chocolate Orpington and Swedish Flower hatching eggs anyone know where I might find some?
I have Swedish Flower Hens.

I have one of the larger and genetically diverse flocks of them - 3 roosters from 3 different breeders and 14 hens from 5 different breeders, plus 5 young pullets from a sixth breeder growing out. (I have a crested cockerel growing out that is available) I have quite a few pictures here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/g/a/6152521/swedish-flower-hens Most of my girls are molting and with this heat have slowed down on laying for the moment (or they may be hiding their eggs in the tall weeds

- I found 1 nest ). How many eggs are you looking for?
Brand new chicken addict here in Florence Y'all!

and the KY thread! We're practically neighbors. I am in the northern tip of Owen County, but I spend a lot of time in Florence. Our church and our homeschool co-op are up there.

I am from Shelby County Ky and was wondering if anyone has any black orpington pullets for sale in my area? I love my buff orpingtons and barred rock bantams that we have now. Just looking to add to the crew.

Thanks!

@KYTinpusher. Hi I just saw that you said you spend a lot of time in Florence, what breeds do you sell? Just Swedish flower? Also what homeschool co-op do you use my kids won't be starting school for another couple years but we've been looking into homeschooling.

In addition to the SFH, I currently have Isbars, White American Bresse, Black Ameraucanas, Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas, Black Copper Marans, Rhodebars and Royal Palm turkeys (for a very colorful egg basket, LOL). I am seriously thinking about cutting back on my number of breeds in the near future to concentrate more on my Swedes, Isbars and a couple of projects. I do sell hatching eggs, and chicks when I have them, and I am always willing to hatch on request, as long as I have room in the incubator.

We attend Grace Fellowship Church in Florence and their homeschool co-op, Strong Oaks Academy.

Thanks for the info I was looking for 10-12 to start with.

@KYTinpusherOh wow you have a selection! We are from the Burlington area, and even though we have had a good experience shipping chicks. I'd like to find someone or a hatchery local to do business with!
We did get our first flock from my healthy, and had no problems whatsoever but now with another health problem my husband and I both are a little eerie.
Thanks for the information, I really appreciate it! I'll keep you in mind next time we are ordering!!

Dorothy Reynolds had some chocolate Orpingtons check with her. Good Luck!! Also, there is a meet in Lawrenceburg Sept 6th. I know we are not too close to lburg but I think it may worth the trip. They actually have a page and you could post there as well.

@KYTinpusher sounds like I live right near your church! Same road actually. You also have all the breeds I am interested in! My new babies have become an obsession! :D

Hello,

We live in Bourbon CO. on Montgomery Co Line 15 min from Mount Sterling. We have 5 Gold laced Wyandottes (One Rooster 4 Hens), A hen of an unknown breed, 9 Marans Chicks, 9 Olive Egger Chicks, and one inquisitive three month old little girl named Abigail (our daughter for those who didn't get my joke). Got interested in chickens inadvertently and got six Gold Laced Wyandotte Chicks in the spring and the interests has only grew since then.
