Kentucky people

Thank you. They both look about the same. I have been very happy with the fertility rate I have with them. They are with 22 hens and I get around 95%-100%. My biggest issue is that they are so big they are hard on my smaller hybrid hens.

Update on the goofy silkies. They now have at least 1 1-day-old, Cris found it in the garden peeping its head off. It evidently couldn't keep up with whichever mama had it very well

Oh my I know exactly where you are. I grew up near Deep Creek. I went through 3rd grade in Mackville and played ball in Mackville many times. I know live in Eubank where my hubby transplanted me. I have lots of chicks that are about 4 months old if you wanted to come look.
But welcome you will love BYC.

Oh yes I have so many chickies it is not funny. I am not sure how many cochin chicks I have. My blue cochin has gone broody. I am not sure how many she is sitting on. I went to collect eggs and there she was at 8 pm. So I put the eggs from the next box under her. She just sort of raised up for me. They are so sweet. I also have 3 silkie hens sitting. 2 in one nest. So cute. The black cochin is still with her silkie babies. They are growing so fast. I know have about 10 pheasant chicks and 5 baby duck hatchlings. Of course along with all of my chickies hatchlings. From 3 day olds to 5 month olds. Anyone needing any are welcome to come look. Some purebreeds and some mixes. Well I had better work for a little while.
