The Bone Garden is not related to the books written by the woman who wrote the books Bones is based off of. However, that show is awesome! I love David Boreananz! He can play any role. Scary, Funny, Bad, Good, Tough, Sensitive, everything.

Cool, I'll have to look for the book (maybe Alibris has it - I buy most of my books through them).

Yeah, he is sort of hot

I like all those shows, CSI, NCIS Bones, I'm sort of a forensics groupie,

The novel I'm writing has some forensics in it. (very little, but I had to throw some in somewhere

) Speaking of CSI - season premier is tonight

Ok, Alibris had it for 1.99 (love that place

)

I got that one (the Bone Garden) and one called Devil Bones (the one about temperance brennan). The second one cost more, but it had voodoo in it, how could I resist?

Well, I suppose I ought to do something constructive.
I was gonna go get an incubator, earlier, but it got late and I was more hungry than wanting a bator, LOL. I can do that tomorrow maybe (or this weekend, I don't have eggs right now, anyway).

Tomorrow I'm going to Shelley's

Hope I don't get lost.
Shelley, I'll call just as I'm leaving, so ya know about what time to expect me.

Peace -

alibris.com - it's an online book selling place (sort of like half.com through ebay, but it isn't affiliated with ebay) they have used books - through alibris or through other folks who list with them. Or like amazon.com, where you can also find it used through other places right on their site.

A lot of the books are 1.99 - some are more (some are a LOT more) but generally any novel type book is going to start at 1.99 to 2.50.

Some of them I have on my wish list, however, cost upwards of 75 dollars :o so they will stay on the wish list for awhile

They also have music and movies, I believe.

I have the following birds free to anyone who wants them. They are the feathered necked chicks from my last hatch from my Showgirl project. I have no idea what sex they are. They are 6 or 7 weeks old.

Sorry Meri! I wasn't paying attention to this thread. having a lot of headaches with my chickies and bator. You know I had 8 hawks circling the house today???!!! And ALL my chickies free range!! Talk about a heart attack!! I made sure Cris was running around real good like a crazy person
wink.png
And Baby was even barking at them! Guess she wants to be the only reason chickens die around here

Will be waiting for your call!! I could probably meet you at the top of the hill, by Purdy (sp?) church. Once you start down the hill, there is no cell phone reception (if you have one) just let me know when you call...

Cindy said she would give me some mille fluer eggs in the spring!!

I am so excited!!! Didn't think I liked feather foots, but they kinda grow on you...

Me and dad are thinking about making a large capacity incubator. He counted his eggs from the past 7-8 days...240!!! 240 eggs in 8 (m/l) days, from 35 (?) hens!! thinking we should sell chicks, instead of him just giving the eggs away. He sells some, but not too many. If he would advertise them, he would have better luck.

See ya tomorrow.

I have one hawk who hangs out here, but he is stoopid enough to cry all the time - even when he's just sitting in a tree. Talk about giving them fair warning, LOL.

I don't have a cell phone (I hate those things). I shouldn't have any problem finding ya, I was just joking on getting lost. I hardly ever get lost. I still have the directions ya sent me before in the PM.

I had one fly so low one day when I was hanging laudry out, that if I'd had Cris's cane fishing pole, I could have smacked it!!

I think the one you're talking about is a red-tail, they do make a lot of noise. These are the (don't know technical name) chicken hawks, that just kinda soar around in circles, looking for something. MY dumb chickens were so interested in the scratch that I was giving them, they didn't even see the hawks!! And why is it whenever you go inside to get the shotgun, they fly away? Not like we would kill them, but we at least would like to try and scare them off. It's like they know what you are doing!!!

<edit> BTW, did you notice how freaking COLD it is tonight?? BRRR!
