I would be very interested in the crested cream legbars, and the lavender and blue Wheaton Ameraucana's! Exactly what I was looking for! How far south of Lexington?

I am about 90 miles south of lexington. I do travel to lawrenceburg once or twice a month. Much closer to lexington.

I was just there yesterday. The wheaten am's won't be available till fall as they are just youngsters right now and have to see what I have at laying age before taking orders. The lav am's I will have are very limited. I just set some more eggs last night so will know how they progress in a week.
I have one young pair of cream legbars available now. the roo is a month or two older than the pullet and the pullet is very close to point of lay. I will have chicks available probably in late june, possibly sooner. Eggs will be available in june possibly sooner after I fill orders this month.
Here is a list of breeds I have:

I am reading the list of your birds in your signature. I am drooling! Where did you get your stock. Crele, oh my heavens! I actually have chocolate bantam eggs coming tomorrow, we'll see what I get from those. The P.O. has been unkind lately. Just checked out your website. Fabulous! Where in NW KY are you? We're in Spencer County.
Im so sorry ive been slacking on keeping up with BYC but we get most of our birds from rarebreed auctions.com and alot of other well known sellers marc sacre, dragonlady, fancy chick, and GFF.
Were in Hawesville Ky feel free to check us out when looking for any birds i have Chocolate chicks hatching daily.

Hi y'all...just started homesteading in Belton (Muhlenberg/Logan county). Looking for Black Australorp pullets or hens, good layers. Haven't been having much luck locating any. Barred Rock would be my second choice. Not crazy about this 3 days of rain/3 days of sun/3 days of rain thing we got goin on right now!

I'm in Shepherdsville and a new owner to 6 Rhode Island Reds, they are about 12 weeks old or so.. I picked them up at TSC... I would love to get some more but wanted to start small..

Hello,

I am new to BYC. We are outside of Owensboro. I have 33 chicks that are three weeks old. I got 27 from Murry McMurry (5 Speckled Sussex, 5 Partridge Rocks and 15 Rainbow layers, + 1 exotic and 1 extra). The day before they came I went to Rural King to pick up supplies and was suckered into 3 black austrolorp pullets and 3 GLW.

I have been reading here and now looking to get some more from breeders.

You can go to Kentuckiana, in Shelbyville, for more!. Its this Saturday.

I have been out of exhibition poultry for about 10 years now, but that area was always host to a whole bunch of very good breeders. I cant even begin to list the ones I remember, I'd end up with a wall of text.

Anyone have some nice "fancy" chicken hatching eggs in the Boyd/Greenup county area?

My quail hatch did pretty well and now my dad is entertaining the thought of chickens. Personally, I like Easter Eggers or other colored eggs layers.

I don't have a setup for chickens yet, so don't consider this an immediate sale or anything. lol

Might see what comes up at the Lucasville swap meet, too.
