Okay, any suggestions on thermometers for my bator? I grabbed the thermometer out of my freezer but I don't think it's reading quite right.

I have 31 potential babies in the bator

and I'm like a nervous father waiting for their first baby!

I got a accurite thermometer for the bator at wal-mart - you could use that. The accurite you can either lay flat or stand up. Wal-mart also has a little white thermometer that would work well, too.
Both of thse are less than 8 bucks - the white one is about 6 bucks, and the accurite was about 7.something.

both of them also will tell you humidity readings - the accurite gives 24 hour highs and lows for temp and humidity, the white one does, too, but ya got to push a button to be able to read it.

Yeah Meri...I can pick BC up next week. Guess what I'm going to have if I ever incubate the new Cochin girls eggs...a Splat Cochin....He really has the hots for her and she is such a floozy she'll squat for anyone. It would be interesting seeing what that combo would look like...Gonna have to get Splat some girls soon(testosterone levels are high). I e-mailed "The Farmers Wife" because I saw on her new site that she has Spitz's so told her I'd like to buy some eggs.

Might need to put her in a bigger cage. I'm sure if ya wait til next week, though, she'll be plenty big enough for your coop. She's already bigger than most of the bantams I have out in the banty coop

But, like I said, she isn't any trouble (just funny/naughty) so she can stay as long as ya need her to. When she goes, I'll just put the Jap baby in with the week olds - she'll blend right in

ya know, of all those chicks I have, I've only named YOURS and that first chick born

, that's just what I've been calling her cause she's a Bad Chick

Ok, using bidslammer, I had a few that I was hoping t oslam. My limit was $30. So there was one that went for $31 and one for $32

So I raised my max bid to $35.....Guess what the one I was bidding on went for?? $35!!!! But not to me! If I had bid $35.01 I would have gotten it, but NOOOOO, someone had to bid it first!!
