I found an origami nativity -

that wouldn't hold up very well in storage between one Christmas and the next, I think.

one year I did the tree in origami cranes - had tons of paper cranes on the tree, and white lights - looked very cool, but they don't store well. would have to make them new every year.

That one's nice, but there are no animals? You said you needed some with animals in them.

OH!!! Before I forget...have you been to walmart lately? They have a lot of Christmas yard deco on clearance! There were some of those metal spiral lighted trees for $15!!!! Thought you might wanna have a look see

I cleaned the coop, piled it in the woods - it was crawling with them - the chickens got lots of treats out of the pile.

I am now awake. I work nights. So my last post last evening was very late for me to be up.

I just won a 3 egg set of barred rock eggs. I need a hen to make a black sex link roo to cross with my Jersey Giants. Well... it will sort of be a black sex link as I have New Hampshires instead of Rhode Island Reds. But... Close enough I think. I could use Rusty I guess, He is my red (Giant x NH) roo.

Grayfields says his Black sex links are the fastest growing and biggest roos at 6 months of age. So, since I suspect my Giants are not true Giants I might as well try to make them faster growing and bigger.

Ya know, If I could get a little more green sheen off their feathers I could call them 'Kentucky wonders'!
