I gave my chickies some oatmeal with cracked corn garnish....Let me tell you it was a HUGE hit!! The silkies and the standard chicks liked it the most, and Nugget. It was very funny seeing her running the standard chicks away, when they are almost twice her size!! But they were listening, though they weren't very happy! Anyone know where to get oatmeal in bulk? I think I may just keep giving them some in the evenings, since it is warmed. Better than just plain corn. I know that corn helps them to stay warm, but the warm oatmeal probably feels good sitting in their bellies!
