Kentucky people

Our black standard (Bertha

) this past summer had been laying an egg every day. When she first started she layed a month straight and then went broody. After she quit her chicks she laid for a few weeks, but we haven't found any of her eggs in a while. Now, she may well just be hiding them, as she is always out in the woods with the red pyle gang. She likes her men to look up to her I guess

She has no interest in Charlie, my red jungle fowl roo, and the only standard roo that is now running around the yard.

I don't know why the pics are so small. I will try again.

I'm about 2 1/2 hours from Lexington, in Pikeville. My husband's family lives there so we go there way too often and I always browse their Craigslist.

I need a Craigslist pets and farm and garden intervention in a bad way.

That's weird...I'm still able to see it. Here's what the ad says:

I have a garbage bag filled a fourth of the way with Chicken Feed.
I got it for a pigeon but have since adopted out the pigeon.
This chicken feed is ground up and for chicks.

E-mail me if interested.

Rusty is a Black Jersey Giant roo x NH hen.

Good Boy..
He is definately the #1 roo. He, Star(board) and Port were clutch mates.

He is very protective and territorial. And acts aggressive but when I catch him and stroke his comb and waddles he is calm. I also offer a hand full of feed which he pecks at as if he wants to attack something but then starts to eat. I've been told this technique is called "gentleing".
