I'm getting some more brahmas monday - not sure how many - getting them from the feedstore. I want to get a cockerel (or maybe two, so I can choose my roo) and some pullets. One good thing about hatching so many Brahma chicks is I can sex them almost from hatch by their combs - I've been right on the mark so far with them.
I might get some more Black Australorps, too - I like how they lay so well, too (and they're funny birds).
Oh, for anyone near me (Shelley and whomever wants to make the drive) the Gradyville big consignment auction is April 25th. I'll post the particulars soon (don't have the paper in my office right now).
