I'll have a tank for ya if the african cichlid would ever die(we do feed it, just waiting)...We've been waiting so we can take it down, he's the only fish left cause he ate all the others we put in. He's been living alone in the tank for about 2-3 yrs and just won't die.
if ya had ducks, you could feed him to them.
There's lots of yard sales this weekend, I figure if I can't find one cheap at
Walmart (probably not, I don't want to spend much on one) I can maybe pick one up at a yard sale if I happen to stop at any.
Even a bird cage, if it's the right configuration would work. I'm thinking longer rather than taller. We used to have one like that for the canary we had as kids. One day when I was about 7 or 8 years old he was sitting on his perch like usual, he made a weird squeak and fell off the perch dead
poor thing, he must have been quite a few years old, I remember having him a long time. His name was Dagwood.
well, that was random
I'm not totally awake yet.
I got up at 4:30 (!!!) cause I woke up and for some reason couldn't get back to sleep. So I figured to just get up and check on animals - and of course when they saw me they had to be fed and let out to play.
Oh well, maybe I'll get a nap in later.

If you can't find an aquarium, you can always use a plastic rubbermaid tote. That's what a lot of people keep them in, from what I hear. The 10 gal. aquariums at
are like $10, so pretty much the same price as a tote, and the totes are bigger.
