UPDATE ON AMY Thank you everyone for your well wishes and prayers...
Amy seems to be doing better every day. She actually tried to chase a car today and barked at the ones across the field on the bypass(even though she can't see them). She is still having a hard time pushing when she does the #2. It's like her stomache muscles are too weak to push either that or it hurts. Gonna take her with me when I go to family weekend at the college since Layne and I are staying the night there. May take Maggie too if Cortni lets us.

Ok, shelley ...

15 guinea eggs, 1 duck, three BR and the two oddball eggs are all good - the rest I pulled out - not developing at all. A couple of the guinea eggs look like thye might have floating air sacks, but not totally, so I left them (they are developing, we'll see).

on mine - none of the bantam cochin eggs were developing, 5 of the BBR (yay!!) and about 16 of my own hen's eggs. Tossed the b-cochin eggs the duck eggs and a few of my own hen's eggs - got three or four of my own hen's eggs I'm still not sure of.

need to go back to cutting wood....

It could be that her bladder is swollen? Maybe she had some weird infection in her kidneys, and now that she is getting better, all that garbage is moving out, and causing her bladder to be big? Idk, just grabbing straws here. Great to hear that she is doing better!!

The two oddballs are the EE? That's good! Thanks for the update. I'm surprised at the guineas, considering 5 of them were broken!

I wonder if the 'bad' ones were the ones covered in goo?

And 3 of 6 BR? Could be better, but not too bad.

They feel better mom!!

You should have stuck them in the incubator, that would have been all right! Or fed them back to the chickens, that would work too. But I think it's okay after a week, I believe it's okay after like 3 days. It's just totally out of their systems by 2 weeks. Too late now though

Just an FYI, I bought some tylan today, a big container. I doubt I'll ever use all of it, so if anyone needs some, just let me know.

I also ordered some vetRx, the listing for 3- 2oz. bottles was 'cheaper' than getting 1- 2oz. bottle, so I'll have 2 extra of those as well.

ETA: It's tylan powder, if that makes a difference to anyone, water soluble.

I wasn't sure if incubating was ok or not - but then, I'd have to find homes for a lot of mutts again, I'm trying to go for the pure breds

if I ever get around to separating them.

I figured next wednesday would be ok to start saving again to eat.

usually the big containers don't have much in them (bottle is way bigger than the amount inside

) I guess it's to make ya feel better about spending so much on it.

I been using the LA200 injectable (got it for the cows) and it is wonderful - I know who got what dose and when. But if you're scared to give shots, then the Tylan is the way to go - it's good stuff, too (a lot more expensive than the LA200, though
