Kentucky people

Hey everyone!
I have cochin bantam chicks and hatching eggs available in just about every color I am working on....
I have several pullets that are laying for sale, and one really cool white frizzle roo I need to find a home for.
Check out my webpage and give me a shout if you are looking for some great little pets. I am always up for trades too!
Chicks are $3-5 each and most adults are $15-20...... Hatching eggs are 25 a dozen shipped or cheap if you pick them up!

Check out our chickens!!!!

Is there a swap this Saturday in Central Ky anywhere?

I've already gotten some, and I can't wait till it's over! I don't really need more chickens, especially not large fowl breeds. But who can pass up free chicks, when I'm buying the feed anyway?

My philosophy is that I can always take them and sell them. Of course, that never happens, but it's a good idea anyway!

I wish I had the room, would love to raise a fresh batch of chicks again. My girls are finally getting it together and laying. I got a total of 11 eggs from 14 hens yesterday, mmmm good!

I forgot to collect the eggs this morning so will have to do it tomorrow and see how many are there. I wound up supplying three of my neighbors with a dozen eggs each too!

I hope this stoopid rain quits soon, I need to get out and get the flowerbeds cleaned up and get the garden area tilled. Gonna try a larger garden this year.

FrChuckW - thats good your girls started back up for ya and we are soooooooo ready to get back into our gardens too!

* 13 chickies have hatched so far... 2 died while zipping

I think I should have tried helping them but didnt know............ I hope no more died.

I have a Sportsman GQF 1502 incubator with hatcher tray for sale or trade. Bought it used off ebay last year for $400 and haven't even plugged it in. It's gathering dust in the basement. I don't hatch enough eggs to justify keeping it. Any offer seriously considered. Will meet in Ky within 90 minutes of Lexington. Help me out guys, I have too many broody hens!

I saw an ad on the Louisville Craigslist under the farm and garden section where somebody was looking for one of those. The ad was yesterday 3/25/10, and the person gave an email contact of [email protected].
It simply said he was looking for a Sportsman Incubator in good condition. Hope that helps.

It might be the same person. I'm bringing it to the Frankfort swap tomorrow. A guy who will be there has already given me a price on it.
Thanks!
