There are times when I miss my silkies, but I know they are in a good home. Also the two whites are probably from the white pullet. Silkies will brood just about anything, and my girls were notorious for everybody laying there eggs in one nest.

Sorry to hear you are out of work again..... I was thinking you found another job a while back?
We have some chickens to get rid of. Our grow out pens are overflowing and it is time to cull. Not sure when we will find time to do it. Might have to take it all to the show on the 15th, but that means taking 2 vehicles....yuck.

Have any blr? I'll pick up. If you're going to be at a show each weekend, I can take a vacation day from work and come midweek.
Colby

I don't think we do.....we are booked until Aug. with chick orders. I do have you down June 15th for day-olds though if you still want them.
I will double check with Jerry....I think we are selling a bunch of the mixed project birds, pair of silkies, and a pair of bantam partridge wyandottes.

edit: I can't spell today

Maybe I can talk Jerry into a date night in Louisville so you won't have a far drive this time....... Hmmmmm....what excuse can I give him? Oh, maybe because I am the mother to his children and do all the laundry

I still owe you 4 chicks!

Mrs. Turbo -- that was my husband that had a temp job that is now over so he's unemployed again.... My position was eliminated at Humana --

Chuck -- if you want whatever silkies are remaining back, I'll bring them to you.... I'm not sure how long I'll be out of work and if things get tight the birds, ducks, goats, dogs, will all have to go.... My kids come first....

Of course my freezer will be full of chicken and maybe duck to get us by until I find another job.... DH has gotten some federal money to go to school to get into a new field....

I did sell those noisy Guineas so my neighbor should be happy that they're not running around the yard and getting into his property....

I did get a rental of a Dodge Dakota and it is really nice since my Montero will be in the shop getting fixed from the out-of-state looser that caused a three car accident with mine being in the front... and of course more damage was done by the tow dude trying to get the guy behind my truck un-stuck from me..... Now my front end is all tore up.... What a Mess.... As if I don't have enough going on, now I have a bummed up truck....

Mrs. Turbo, I still have two of your blue Waddys and one is now walking on her knees (she no longer is able to stand up straight to walk)
At least she's gone Broody and doesn't have to get off the nest to walk far for food and water and the other girls leave her alone...

We made it through ok-dokie had pert near 7" of rain. Good thing is we are up on a hill so 90% of it ran off. Wish i had dug a pond before it rained.

Somehow...after 6"of that wet stuff.....Trimble County had very little problem. I had to go to Madison Indiana this afternoon and the Ohio River is really going wild. And FULL of driftwood. Even several whole trees floating down the river.

AM, check out the AT&T website for some jobs. I went online and filled out an application yesterday, and they already contacted me to schedule testing. You will have to scroll through some of their state listings to find the ones for Kentucky.
