We would like to, but maybe next month - we are going to the Kentuckiana show in Shelbyville on 5/15.

Looking forward to meeting lots of folks at both places.

How'd the open house go? Hope it was successful for you!

Have a great week!

Not bad actually. I was pleased with the turnout. I sold 2 ducks and 16 chicks too!!! Still have some to sell off before my next hatch of orpingtons. Going to get to planning a get together for next month........I've had some interest locally so I think we can get some BYCers together and have a HUGE party!

Awesome!! Distance and date depends for me... I may be able to make it if not more that an hour or two away.

Some of everything..and lots of ducks!! Muscovies, Rouens and Cayugas.

I have a lot of Bantams now along with the Large Fowl breeds that we have.
Both the Black Spanish and Royal Palms have been selling soon after they hatch, or before they hatch..so I don't think I will have any of those with me.

I may want a few of your Silkies..just to get some new blood. Please come and see me when you get there.

I will have one nice looking splash roo for sale. He is young and has not started crowing yet but I am almost 100% he is a roo. He has really nice coloring. Will you have any easter eggers with you?

I'm going to the Shelbyville show this weekend to watch and learn. Since I've never been to one, what time should I get there? Is there an admission charge? I went to the website and it didn't give this information. Should I bring a camp chair if I find myself among a few friends? Am I allowed to take pictures of beautiful birds or do I need to get the owners' permission first? I don't want to cause offense. Should I bring my own soda or are there vendors?

Many questions!
Colby

I'm jealous Colby! I wish I could go - I have to go to a horse show this weekend instead and I'd really rather go look at chickens. By the way, I have 4 of your very cute little olive eggers running around in my brooder. I had a really good hatch - 11 of 14. Maybe I've finally figured out this incubation thing!
