Mrs Turbo- I still plan on getting some BLRW chicks from you this spring- I am the long haired 14 y/old boy that got a couple of BLR pullets off of you at the ONPS. I figured I would jog your memory, because I haven't talked to you forever( I'm kind of a hermit on BYC

Sounds like your recovering from your surgery well

How about the blue water tower around 4:00? I can't stay later than that. It's a 2.5 hour drive back home (I'm just north of Lexington). $5 each for the EEs. I have welsummers but need to hold onto them for my egg customers. I'll bring 5 EEs so you can choose who you would like. I have a silver wrangler. If this doesn't work, we can always meet some other time this spring.

If you want to drop the extras off at Shepherdsville, I'd take them.... Not sure how they'd like the change from 50 degrees to whatever it is in the coop with a heat lamp -- usually above freezing if it isn't single digits outside....

I think the last time I shot at the neighbor's dog it got the hint and hasn't been back to kill any more of my girls....

Turbo -- Don't feel bad my Scovie girls were laying under the chicken coop and I didn't catch it until I started finding little dead ducklings.... What a Ditzy girl... I don't know what they think they're doing.... Yes I sort of do, I sold her last batch of babies about a month ago and bango she's sitting again... should have guessed that one....

I really miss the Stock Yard at Shepherdsville. I went to the new bird sale and didn't really like it. I found that it was difficult to find a place for non-sellers to park and be able to get out.... I hope they find a better place...

Hey, I will be laid up in the bed so when it is good for you it is good for us. Just give us a heads up....Jerry mentioned running for some hay and straw this weekend. My other pygmy goat should have babies anytime now. Her sack is getting very full and she was bred the same time as her mom that had twins last week.

I have one Pygmy on watch also..she is due any time now. This will be my first baby from John England's goats..can't wait!!

How is John??

I should have gotten one of his little billies.... I got a rotten billie which I just sold... At least it appears he did his job... so if I calculated right I have a few more weeks before I go on baby watch!!! I swore I wouldn't do another winter baby but mother nature had other plans....

I'm going home on the BG pkwy. I can hook up with you in a few weeks when they're a little more mature.
