Ok we stink at hatching anything. So my mom decided to hatch out some geese. I can count many many issues along the way but we amazingly have had 1 hatch out on the 34th day. One half way hatch and then die on the 35th day. And one that has cracked the shell but not the membrane and is still alive. Out of the other 20 eggs. Nada. soo I need a buddy for our lone goose I think. Anyone have anything that could be his/her friend. I prefer to think of it as a she and she is very energetic and very lonely.

Also I have a dozen Pekin duck eggs that I was wanting to hatch out but considering our luck and not feeling to enthusiastic on. I just wanted a couple babies from my pair. Anyone wanna toss in an extra dozen in with theirs?

please do. If not its not a huge deal. I am sure this time of year someone is better at hatching than we are. We had some issues with our electric lines for like a week and I am seriously thinking all the fluctuations messed it all up. They seem to be over due and under baked. I just don't know.

Ya, I looked at White Leghorn chicks and they are very similar to our three, I also looked at Tetra Tint chicks and they are also similar.I am hoping they are either breed since both lay a lot of eggs.

Anybody from our great state have any good quality large fowl dominiques or know of anybody that has any? Eggs, chicks, or adults are all fine.
