Can someone tell me when and where the flea market is in Leitchfield, please? Also, if you go, do they typically have a lot of vendors and variety of animals?

Anyone else ready for the rain to stop? My poor chickens' yard is a muddy stinky mess and the rain hasn't stopped long enough for me to do anything about it. It has been too yucky to let them out in the yard.

I live near Owensboro and we haven't had rain for soooo long. Wish we could have some of yours. The ground it too hard to dig potatoes...not that they could grow in that cement anyway. Dusty and dry.

As soon as the rain slows down i am putting down the grass seed and straw in our chicken yard. I also already have my pavers ready to put in an actual path for us to use. Tired of mud in the 3 other kentucky seasons. Only time its not muddy is summer.

Lavender Orpingtons
One lone gold laced Brahma for now. still too young to tell if pullet or roo

We also are home to several Arabian horses that we are dispersing to only a couple riding horses and the old ones no one wants.

We also have 7 head of cattle, mostly for the freezer, 4 outside cats, 2 inside cats, one of which slipped out yesterday when our son went to work and I have been looking for all night.

Boy am I tired!!!! darn cat.
