Does anybody have a couple.. couple day old chicks? My friend has some sumatra eggs sent to me and only 1 hatched, so I've got a lone chick in the brooder and I'd like to get him a buddy. I'm hoping for somebody near me so.. Etown, Cecelia down to Bonnieville or Hodgenville down to Greensburg.

Thanks!

Yesterday was a buy day here around my lil farm... I sold the 2 kinder kids to a very nice, sweet couple & their 2 daughter, so glad the kids went to a good home. Yesterday evening I milked my girls for the 1st time... I know some of yall do this everyday, but it was my very 1st time every milking a goat, I thought it was cool, lol. I'm headed to E-town today to sell 4 of my Muscovy 4 month old ducks.

Is anyone from my area (south-central) going to the Bluegrass Poultry association show on the 24th? I really wanted to go but both of dad's vehicles are broke down and it's hard to say if either will be running by then. If someone is going and wouldn't mind dragging me along, I won't have much to take. I was planning on taking 1-2 Serama to show then taking some young Marans and a trio of Japanese to sell.

I took advantage of the sunny weather to till and remove 8" of black top soil from one of my runs. In all, DH said I shoveled around a ton of dirt. Thank goodness he's my wheelbarrow man. Not bad for a skinny little lady who's having rods put in her back in January!
