Kentucky people

I have a couple extra ducklings I need to find a home for.

What kind? how old? and how much would you like for them?  Also where abouts are you?

Pekin/cayuga cross. They are almost 3 weeks. I have them listed in the buy/sell/trade section under other poultry. I will get the link for you shortly, but I'm havong a lot of operator errors tonight so bear with me...

I am in bracken county. 45 min southeast of Cincinnati. About 1.5 hour from Lexington.

My son adopted these 2 little guys yesterday. We've got them in a 2 strand electric fence, but man they are smart.....2nd strand was added after some jumping and ducking under the single strand.....so far so good. Both about 1 yr old and neutered.

I used to live in Augusta when I was in high school.

Does anyone here go to the Grayson Co. Ky. flea market on Wednesday mornings in Leitchfield Ky? If so do they ever have any really nice chickens for sale or trade. Do they have other markets in say, Hart, Hardin Counties, etc. I visited at the Hardin County, Ky Hatchery today and didn't see anyone there. I didn't hear one single bird either. Seems about closed down I guess.

They've been closed for years it seems.

Yay! My french black copper marans have started laying. Pretty pretty. I'm going to throw an EE in there with them to get some olive eggers too. I'm hatching some EE right now. I love all the different shades of green I already get and want to expand on that - some are very light and some are very green. I love it!

Hi all,
Just found this thread I knew there had to be KY folks on here but never saw any. I just started chickens this year and went nuts. Husband brought 5 home for grandkids and I still have them plus about 30 eggs I have hatched this year. Most too young to tell sex of yet.
I live in Crab Orchard in Lincoln County if anyone has every heard of it, if not your not alone most people haven't. Most of my chickens are barnyard mixes of leghorn and domminikers [not spelled right I know]. I do have 3 buff orp. about 2 weeks that are hens I need to find a roo for pretty soon. If anyone has one cheap let me know

And I can't say I've ever heard of Crab Orchard, KY.
