[Attack Chicken]

I was sitting in my chair snoozing away wehn I hear a mouse squealing. I got up and found Kernal hard already taken care of the mouse by pounding it on the ground.. I had to chase the sucker all the way across the yard,under the coop,under the boat, and through the berry bushes to get it from him. All the time he was clucking and I was tumbling over a hen and a pullet at the same time. Finally I cornered him and got it LOL

I was afraid he would choke on it or some and the thought of him eating a mouse is just

What a lovely rooster!!! We used to have mouse problems since one of our cats went blind and deaf (He's 17). The other one will only catch lizards.
But before he was blind and deaf, he and his brothers would take on anything that moved. Dogs, birds, and rats. Gone in a flash. (They're maine coons, about the size of a large bob cat)

But then the owls moved in. Mice and rats are gone. Of course, now I have to defend my chickens.

I traded one problem for another. *Sigh*

I had a mouse that died in a water pan. The chickens found it before I did. They all had a tug-a-war with it. No one choked.
