I have 2 female Khaki Campbell and no eggs yet. Is this normal? I was hoping there would be eggs by 20 weeks. Maybe I'm just being impatient - BUT I WANT DUCK EGGS NOW!!!!!!

Be patient, might take a few more weeks-- I've had them start at 24 wks.

Should be any day now. My second just started laying a few days ago. Around the same age.

You'll LOVE duck eggs, and it won't be long now!
I was told 26 weeks and mine (Khaki) started @ 22!

I think I got my first duck egg today. [IMG]
I found it on the ground near the coop door. It is much smoother then the chicken eggs. [IMG]
I am holding it up next to one of my leghorn eggs for comparison. It is actually a litter smaller then the leghorn egg, but in the picture it looks larger.

Well, we finelly tasted our first duck egg. It was yummy! It was a little richer then a chicken egg. I think it is only one of the two ducks laying but so far one egg a day for three days.

    Congrats!
KCs will continue to lay very reliably. We get one almost every day per bird.

Well, I'm getting one egg a day from 2 ducks so I think one is still slacking. She is 27 or 28 weeks old and still no egg. Is this normal for KC ducks?
