They will also often make multiple pips while they are getting situated to hatch. Peck on the incubator window and try to get reaction. As long as the membrane doesn’t start turning brown, it should keep progressing on its own.

I have been tapping. The one that just hatched, I would tap and it would peep and rock that egg! The other two show signs of piping, but not much else. Keeping fingers crossed.

My first ducks. Ive hatched chickens alot, but its not any easier! Have another showing signs of progress this morning. Hole alot bigger and can hear peeping when you tap on the dome. I'll have another fuzzy butt when I get home!

I'll find out in March. Im getting a dozen banty eggs, a dozen CL, and a RIR eggs to set. Its been a while since Ive hatched eggs so it will be interesting.
Im also getting 20 baby chicks from Ideal end of March. Yippee!

Got another fuzzy butt when I came home snd checked the incubator. One more is trying to hatch so that will make 5 out of 6 hatched from the other seller I got eggs from.

Yeah. Ive completely lost it.
The last duck just hatched. He came out backwards. Never seen that before.
