Kid-Speak

When I was little, Simon and Garfunkle was Simon and Grapefruit. I didn't know I had it wrong for 20 years.

LOL! Obviously your parents thought it was cute too. Otherwise it wouldn't have taken 20 years for someone to tell you!

when my brother was little there was that sound that went "who can it be now?" he thought the words were, "i gotta pee now"

today at the store the cashier asked ym ds were he got his cool shirt. he looked at her like she was nuts and said " from my dresser" hes 4.

when dd was 6 her and a friend "rescued a lizard from a cat and they came to me asking for a bandaide... apparently the tail fell off, when i said a bandaide wouldnt work, she asked for tape.

my 3 year old insists on calling mcdonalds "hotdonalds" even though everyone else says it correctly

my 3 year son old swears he is a princess and his daddy is a marine imagine the look i got when daddy heard that for the first time

When my kids were little:

yawyeepop = lollipop
ninger = finger

"My sister has weasle eyes" (make that hazel eyes)

'Mommy, I need tension!" She meant attention. (she often caused the tension LOL)

And they all lived "happy evvy after" was yelled at the end of every movie. (I still say that when we've watched a really good movie and they roll their eyes.)

When my youngest was 2 I couldn't find the family cat, Puff-in-Stuff. So I wandered the house singing, "Puff Kitty? Puff Kitty?" and my little shadow follwed me saying "Pooh-ky, Pooh-ky?"
Puff was Pooky from that day until she passed from old age!

When I was a little kid I thought the line in the song "Inchworm" was "measuring the miracles" instead of 'measuring the marigolds.' No one had ever corrected me, and I still sing it the wrong way.... I like it better my way!

Yes Danno calls McDonalds "Mac O'Donnell's" Only my kid could make it an Irish Pub...

Time is measured in Sleeps

Pwano-Piano

Bwanna-Banana

Space Ball-Base Ball

Titties-Kitties

Pickle-Cheese-Boy is also Danno's name for himself...because Danno isnt a cool enough nickname...

My grandaughter calls cicadas ... cincadas
She thinks the shells are cool and sticks them on her shirt lol
