I agree they're fun to have around but can't wait till they're a little bit more independent being their human Dad is a lot of work!Sooo cute! I love the little pieds... Makes me miss having chicks around!

You're gonna be waiting a loooong time if you are interactive with them!I agree they're fun to have around but can't wait till they're a little bit more independent being their human Dad is a lot of work!
Osiris sounds exactly like my peahen Cricket. She still thinks she is welcome to come in and sit on the table and when I shoo her out she calls back at me. She still follows me around for neck rubs even when she has babies. I wasn't planning on taking the interactive route but it just kinda happened and now they follow me everywhere. You're gonna be waiting a loooong time if you are interactive with them! They'll want to be in your business as adults too! I can't shoo Osiris away from me any time I am in the pen and she *still* calls at me when I walk away and leave her in it.![]()
"Mom?? MOM?? What are you doing over there?? OMG I can't see omg I need your attention, mom mom mom- Hi."
I made the mistake of not looking where she was one day while scooping food from the barrel (and it was running low, so I had to bend to reach the bottom)... I reached in for a scoop without consulting her (or offering her any "choice" pieces), so she hopped up on my back to look over my shoulder! Nosy girl.
