After the Shania Davis incident happened in my area, I became determined that I would never keep silent if I came across anything that might be suspicious. I would not be concerned with "making a scene" or getting someone mad at me at the risk of not helping a child in need. Shania was a 5 year old girl that maybe would have been saved if someone had pressured authorities to act sooner, etc.

If there is ANY suspicion of child abuse or neglect it is our responsibility to report it and if possible, follow through to ensure it was addressed.

Hope these kids get the help they need soon!
