Oh and also about the masks... they aren’t to protect you. They’re to protect other people in case you have it. They don’t prevent you from getting it, just prevent you from spreading it to others.

That's the story... scarves/gaiters (so I've heard) aerosolize the droplets so they spread more widely. True? No idea. Also have no idea whether other commonly used masks do much in either direction—unless we're talking n-95.
