The circled definitions are all for adjectives. The confusion was in the use of domestic as a noun.

Ah okay that makes sense. I wasn’t sure cause it seemed like people were saying it was only a servant or paid person or whatever? I might have misread haha

Thank you Urs, I don't really have anyone to candidly talk to about my health so sometimes it spills out here. I hope I've never come across as sounding like I have it worse than anyone else. I know I'm blessed.

Glad you are feeling better today....the beauty of @Kiki threads is that yes we can basically talk about anything (within byc rules of course) and it was no one’s intention during conversation to offend or make anyone feel bad about the things going on in their lives nor any subject they wish to talk about! Most is general conversation and sometimes personal opinions regarding some subjects/debate come out....not necessarily directed personally to any poster (unless the dogg ) good luck getting homework done!!!! Better u than me!!!! one of the few benefits of being old and done with school!!!!

What the hell does domestics mean?

How have you guys never once heard this meaning before!? I thought it was fairly common ??? maybe it was more common back in the day haha

If you go look again at all the definitions you posted, you will see that there are only two options provided for domestic when used as a noun—servants and non-imports.. That is why La Fleche was talking about servants, Mare thought we were talking about American beer, and others were just confused.

Ahh I see now. Yeah that was definitely a bit of a weird usage but even so, the meaning could still be inferred because she mentioned baking right after ? So even though it was maybe not the “correct” usage or whatever I still got the gist of what she meant haha

Also the surgical masks you see everywhere (that secure around the ears) are not allowed in the actual operating rooms or the cores (where they keep actual surgery supplies). The only ones allowed are the type you tie behind the head.
