Is that the same as a mouth guard or something different? I was thinking of getting one recently cause I’ve read it can help with TMJ and some other stuff haha
yes for most people i recommend a soft (professionally made) occlusal guard to be worn while sleeping and/or any daytime activity which is particularly stressful or dangerous to your smile....I evaluate the wear on the guard in addition to symptoms at each follow-up appointment to determine is additional treatment may be necessary
 
Or the people with them on their laps.
I used to sit on laps, but that was many moons ago when cars (at least the shit heaps we had) didn't have seat belts. My dad also used to bungee cord us onto his motorcycle, and drive us over the narrows bridge. It was my favorite thing ever! Course, mom would almost always have a heart attack every time.
