Kiki's found horse eggs—experiment Round 2

It will do just fine...I think!

I'm sure it will, I'd just never seen it! I had some quail eggs that I didn't know had cracks (didn't candle before putting in the bator) and they didn't make it. I later read to put wax on the crack but that it may or may not work. It will be neat following along.

I almost put Nuskin on it like I did with the balut eggs but I didn't want to take a chance with this one and chose to drip wax on it instead. I've never dripped wax on an egg before. I probably have way too much wax on it, who knows. We shall see what happened.

I've incubated 3 cracked eggs. I used candle wax. All 3 developed fully but only 1 hatched.

I'd count when you took the most recent photo as Day 3 (72 hours incubating). Looks exactly like the Day 3 pic I posted perviously.
Your waxed up eggs....Do you know why they didn't hatch?
Did they died before it was time to hatch or during lockdown?
Do you have an idea as to what happened to those eggs?

They were all in hatches with low hatch rates. The short version is one hatch had humidity too low and too high on the other. This affected all the eggs not just the ones with cracks.

Edit: They made it to lock down. There was movement at that time. One internally pipped and had an absorbed yolk. The other no pipping. Probably DIS day 20.
