What did she do with those slippers?

She was ten ... and I'm saving the story for a children's book. My MIL was best friends with Harry Hopkins' daughter - and spent a great deal of time with the family ... and has the letters and souvenirs to prove it. When I was pregnant and bedridden with my son, that blessed woman sat at the end of my bed and talked for two solid weeks. No one in the family wanted to listen ... but I was fascinated. We actually made a trip to Hyde Park with her, at the invitation of the ranger/curators, and spent the entire day reminiscing. They recorded a lot of it. It was WAY beyond cool!
