I don't think that I've ever eaten sweet potato, actually. I've had turnips, butternut squash, acorn squash, and I think a rutabaga, but never sweet potato.
Oh, and parsnips are to die for.

Sweet potatoes are actually great with spice. Forget the sweet stuff next time & try just a tiny bit of sriracha.

Yes! DH and I make sweet potato tacos sometimes. Sweet potatoes roasted with chili powder is some good stuff.
