I don't think that I've ever eaten sweet potato, actually. I've had turnips, butternut squash, acorn squash, and I think a rutabaga, but never sweet potato.
Oh, and parsnips are to die for.

I tried yams at Thanksgiving, I didn’t like them. What kind of parsnips? Like cow parsnips? We have cow parsnips, wild carrots, opium lettuce, nettle, and plantains (broad leaf and the narrow leaf kind) all over. I didn’t try the parsnips myself, my rabbits sure enjoyed them. As a treat, of course.

I was trying to imitate the cinnamon honey butter Texas Roadhouse has! except it wasn’t nearly as good because theirs is like infused and whipped and stuff and not just dumped on

I never liked anything on sweet potatoes except occasionally butter. I scrub 'em up good, bake 'em in the oven (NO microwave!!! ) and eat 'em all by their little selves. I was perplexed when a friend asked for brown sugar. She wanted some on her sweet potato. Must be a "northie" thang?

Man... DAWG, girl, you need to get out and eat more of those delicious root vegetables and squash. They are absolutely delicious with some butter and a sprinkling of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
