I'd suppose that it's less about the age and more about the maturity of the person. Maturity often comes with age, but not all the time.
That being said... yeah, y'all can be pretty rowdy sometimes.

So knowing this thread yourself would you say it would be appropriate for any junior high kid?
And yes I know maturity isn't always about age. You know I'm as immature as I can get for my age. Lol

If I were to OD, I do not expect ass pats and pity parties. Honestly, I wouldn’t let that happen because of what it would do to the people that care about me. It was her selfishness and ignorance that killed her. They tried to make her go to rehab but she chose drugs. One cannot help those who are unwilling to help themselves. Am I happy she died? No, but I will do my best not to get caught up in the negative emotions. How might one do that? Make a freaking joke. Doctors and nurses do it all the time.

I had a reoccurring dialogue with a bunch of friends while in college not long after the "Challenger disaster over our heads."

Eventually I can to a 'ah hah moment' and have held to it to this day.

Logic based generalization as well.....

There is basically one detail seperating tragedy from comedy; that would be the aspect of time. case in point #1: a kid fell in a mud puddle. (Cue nearly instant laughter)

Case in point #2: night time talk shows have a well tooled perception of how soon to share jokes after a bad, sad, ugly situation.... Yes, I'll be the first to also admit they are also human and have missed the mark over the years with different tragedies. However, for the majority of the time they are spot on time wise for applying the humor card to a sad story.

Case in point #3: history lessons can also go in and out of favor, regarding how humor is applied to the event(s).
